Monte Carlo Quarterfinals & Semifinals

For the Monte Carlo semi-finals, I drove with my friend.  Parking and traffic were very difficult in Monte Carlo for the tournament.  Every lot was full, they were all far from the site, and all buses we had to take were full each time they passed.  So, we ended up walking 2 miles to the tournament from the car.  If you ever go and aren't staying in one of the hotels next to the tournament, I highly suggest you take the train that stops right at the country club.

Awesome boats at the Yacht Club and Marina.

I always find this funny, randomly on the street.

Quarterfinal Matches: Nadal vs. Ferrer and Federer vs. Tsonga.

Before we arrived Wawrinka beat Raonic, and we decided to leave early to spend time in Nice as Djokovic beat Garcia Lopez.
Rafa Nadal
David Ferrer
Tsonga vs. Federer
Jo Wilfried Tsonga.
Roger Federer.

Semi-final matches:  Wawrinka dominated Ferrer and Federer defeated Djokovic, who had a rumored wrist injury.  This set up an all Swiss final and was highly anticipated for the next day.

Ferrer often looked overpowered and found it hard to match the level that Wawrinka was saying at.

In doubles, the Bryan Brothers beat Nestor and Zimonjic, in another great match.

As usual, not many people stayed to watch the doubles semifinals, which I hate.  Doubles is super fun to watch and the players are so talented and love watching the teamwork aspect of it since it is such an individual sport normally.  Plus. we were able miss all the traffic on the way out.  I highly recommend this at any tournament!
